if i look at the music i've bought some of it i've just come across but quite a bit i've bought having heard it at a friends house or as a result of some recomendation, conversational tangent or other more serendipitious, circuitous route. i like it that way, and i'd like more.

so the idea is that if i lend you some tunes to enjoy for a short while (a week, a couple of weeks, don't take the piss now) then maybe you'll care to lend me a few tunes in return. or maybe there's someone you know who would like this lot and they'll lend me some of theirs instead.

lets not get too complicated here, only two degrees of freedom not six. afterall i want my nano back don't i?

p.s. this nano is on loan, i'm trusting you not to copy the contents, not least because much of the music i buy is from small & independent labels & artists which i enjoy supporting by paying for the cd's & vinyl... quite apart from the fact that being chased by copyright agencies or sued simply ain't my idea of a party.
